Chef Hamidullah Noori

Chef Hamidullah Noori is an award-winning Afghan chef known for blending tradition with innovation. Starting his culinary journey at age 18 in Kabul, he worked at top establishments like the Intercontinental Hotel and Kabul Serena Hotel before bringing his passion for Afghan cuisine to the U.S. In 2019, he founded The Mantu in Richmond, Virginia — a modern Afghan restaurant that celebrates heritage, hospitality, and flavor in every dish.
